Managing cybersecurity incidents compromising Luxembourg
Welcome to the website of the Computer Security Incident Response Team – or CSIRT for short – of the Government of Luxembourg (GOVCERT.LU).
GOVCERT.LU is the central contact point for all types of IT incidents that could compromise the information systems of the government and other public or private infrastructure operators that are considered critical.
In this context, our team responds to all types of security-related cyber incidents that could cause damage to the country of Luxembourg, its citizens or its economy. When security-related cyberattacks occur, we react immediately and take appropriate mitigation measures to prevent them from affecting us while building a more secure and resilient infrastructure for the future.
We are however aware that cybersecurity is a collective responsibility and therefore we rely on the assistance of our constituency. By reporting any IT incidents that you discover, you give us the opportunity to analyse them and implement suitable solutions or preventive measures. Incidents that do not directly affect the GOVCERT.LU constituency will be forwarded to the relevant CSIRTs.
