Overview

Attackers try to collect Microsoft credentials.

Explanation

In this case, the attackers use emails from a trusted source and claim that they want to share a folder. This way, the attackers want to bait the user into clicking on the malicious Open button which redirects to the phishing form.

The phishing form is disguised as Adobe Document Cloud. Before the user is able to “open” the document, they need to enter Microsoft credentials.

After entering his credentials, the user is redirected to the authentic Microsoft login website.

Prevention

If you are uncertain about the authenticity of an email, do not hesitate to contact the entity that seems to have sent you the email using a safe communication manner, using the phone for example (no phone number from the untrusted email must be used in order to verify the authenticity).
