Overview

Attackers try to collect Netflix credentials and credit card information.

Explanation

In this case, attackers indicate an alleged billing problem and the recipient needs to log in via a link to fix the problem.

The recipient will be lured to the wrong page and asked to enter their credit card information. Once they have entered this, their data will then be used for purchases on the Internet.

Prevention

If you are uncertain about the authenticity of an email, do not hesitate to contact the entity that seems to have sent you the email using a safe communication manner, using the phone for example (no phone number from the untrusted email must be used in order to verify the authenticity).
