Threat actors collecting personal information and credit card credentials

Explanation

Threat actors are using a MyGuichet.lu phishing theme to collect personal information and credit card credentials.

The attack begins with a fake SMS stating that the address of the passport has to be verified.

When clicking on the link included in the SMS, the victim is taken to the landing page, where they have to enter their personal information.

After providing this data, the user is then asked for his credit card information in order to pay the fees of the validation.

Prevention

If you are uncertain about the authenticity of an email, do not hesitate to contact the entity that seems to have sent you the email using a safe communication manner, using the phone for example (no phone number from the untrusted email must be used in order to verify the authenticity).
