Overview
Threat actors collecting e-mails credentialsExplanation
Threat actors are impersonating a Luxembourgish tax firm to collect e-mail passwords.
The phishing mail leads the user to believe that a new document is to be shared on Sharepoint for enterprises.
By clicking on the link (“CONSULTER LE DOCUMENT ICI”), the user is taken to the phishing landing page.
On the landing page, the victim is lured to validate the allegedly vital document by clicking on the link “OUVREZ LE PDF COMPLET ICI OU TELECHARGEZ”.
Upon clicking on this link, the user has to chose a sign-in option to view the document. The options are Sign in with Outlook, Sign in with Office365 or Sign in with Other Mail.
Depending of the choice, a customized login dialog is shown where the e-mail credentials are requested.

Prevention
If you are uncertain about the authenticity of an email, do not hesitate to contact the entity that seems to have sent you the email using a safe communication manner, using the phone for example (no phone number from the untrusted email must be used in order to verify the authenticity). If you are working for the Luxembourgish government or are using any of the GOVCERT.LU services, it is important to forward phishing emails to us (using Reporting an incident or the Outlook button). This will allow us to take down phishing websites and protect members of our constituency.
