Threat actors collecting online banking credentials

Explication

Threat actors are using a phishing campaign that mimics the appearance of the official Luxembourgish government website (https://gouvernement.lu/fr.html).

The attack begins with a seemingly legitimate SMS that tells the recipient that they are eligible for a tax refund and provides a link to follow. However, when the link is clicked, the user is redirected to a fake version of the gouvernement.lu website. On this page, the victim is asked to choose their bank from a list of options, including Bilnet, Spuerkees, ING, eboo banque and BGL BNP Paribas.

After selecting their bank, the victim is redirected to a fake login form that is themed to match the bank they selected.

The ultimate goal of this phishing attack is to collect the victim’s banking login credentials.

Si vous avez des questions d'authenticité sur un courriel, n'hésitez pas à contacter l'institution que semble vous avoir envoyé le courriel par un moyen officiel de communication, comme par exemple le téléphone (le numéro est à vérifier de façon manuelle, n'utilisez pas les numéros indiqués dans le courriel qui vous semble frauduleux).
Si vous travaillez pour l'État luxembourgeois ou si vous profitez de l'un des services du GOVCERT.LU, il est important de nous rapporter ces courriels frauduleux (via Signaler un incident ou le bouton dans Outlook) aussi tôt que possible afin qu'ils puissent bloquer l'accès vers le site et ainsi protéger toutes les autres personnes qui tenteraient d'entrer des données sur le site frauduleux.
