Explanation
In this case, customers of the bank BNP Paribas (Antilles subsidiary) are targeted.
The phishing mail leads the user to believe that their user profile needs to be updated.
After clicking on the button ‘Profil client’, the user is redirected to the landing page.
After solving a captcha the user has then to enter their customer number, after which the mobile phone number is requested. Once this information is provided, the user still has to provide a code received via SMS.
After completion of all the steps, the user is redirected to the authentic page of BNP Paribas.
Note that neither the phishing mail nor the landing page are in any way linked to BNP Paribas.
